Indian Republic

On26th november,1949, we, the people of India, adopted,enacted and gave to ourselves to constitute India into a sovereign, socialist and secular democratic republic. This constitution inforced on 26th january, 1950. The constitution of India is not a result of any revolution. British rulers had not left the country as a defeated community. We got our freedom by Indian freedom act-1947 of the British parliyament. Our constitution is based on Indian Government act 1935 passed by British parliament. British parliament passed different acts in 1892,1909,1919 to rule the country. In oder to prove the validity of their rule they always tried to show that they are trying to estabilish a democratic system in India. Act of1935 was last act which we adopted as base of our constitution.We never tried to make our own constitution based on our on culture and nessecity. We made morethan hundred ammendments in our constitution. but all enven.Yet 80/.of our population is below povertylin

Dance of Democracy

India is a democratic country.Parliament is apex body to govern the People.We the people of India elect the members of parliament.Today there is a general trend to rubbish the entire political system,this trend is dangerous and leads to dictatorship.I believe parliamentary democracy is best form of government,but some reform in the system is needed ;the electoral system should be more sensitive to the common man ,that the parliament truly reflects the commons.At present our parliament is crorepatis club.
